Therapist, Dancer, but mostly, Human
Oh, and here’s my resume.
I’m a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in Physical Therapy. I studied Dance and Communication at the University of Iowa, and received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2019. I am the director of the Performing Arts Care Coordination program at The Washington Ballet, under artistic direction of Edwaard Liang. I have experience teaching ballet and pointe technique, creative movement, and clinical specialty practice at the collegiate level.
Hi, I’m Anna.
Nice to meet you. I’m on a journey to discover what brings me joy in life. I take the long route because it’s prettier. If I’m going to commit to something, I’m going to do it to the best of my ability. Let’s all lead with curiosity and acceptance. No overhead lighting, please. I’m a fan of fancy wine and of Cheez-Its. I will smile at your dog before I smile at you. Vulnerability and hard truths are ugly and beautiful at the same time.
